Panggang Island Urban Village Head, Pepen Kuswandi stated, his side distributed free masks as his effort to educate residents to prevent COVID-19 transmission by complying with health protocols.

"By giving masks for free, we expect residents to be more disciplined in wearing masks, especially when doing activities outside," he mentioned, Friday (1/15).

North Thousand Islands Police Police Head, AKP Josman Harinja added, through continuous socialization and education, his side hoped Pramuka Island residents to be more disciplined in wearing masks when doing their activities.

"We hope there will be no more residents and tourists who are caught not wearing masks in the future, thus they will not be sanctioned," he closed.
